New GPS approaches give the opportunity to create new
waypoint designations, which are normally made up of five-character nonsense letters
(OXMIF, AHUMO, etc.). However, the new GPS approach into Pease International Tradeport
at Portsmouth, N.H. has an unusual series of waypoints: ITAWT, ITAWA, PUDYE, TTATT,
IDEED. If you don't get it, pronounce the I's long ("eye"), and say it fast.
One clue: it will henceforth be nicknamed "The Tweety Bird Approach".
