Flightsoft for Windows arrived yesterday. I have been an avid user of FSpro
(the DOS version) for years and love the program. The windows version is an all together
different story. The program was not ready for market. It lacks many features of the DOS
program and many of the new features simply do not work. The program is flawed in how
it calculates such important items as fuel consumption and it has entered random numbers
into calculations a number of times. Add to this the fact that it doesn't work with my
ATI driver and parts of the screen are missing and it is certainly not a good product at
this time.
On a brighter note. Their support was gracious and prompt and a "less bug free"
version will be out in a couple weeks. How much "less" is a question and when
and if they ever get all of the options working is an issue still. I suggest giving them
about 6 months. The time they should have waited to ship the first batch.
