Books, Charts and VORs
By Cheryl D. Wallace, 1996 (biscuit@bconnex.net)
Desire of the unknown
A need to follow the fear
As I reach for the throttle
The walls all disappear
This need is my own
To fly my bird of prey
We chase the demons below
And watch them scurry away
I question the meaning of time
Held boundless by my hands
Desire allows me to climb
To the only place I understand
Knowledge comes from within
The purpose becomes a demand
Books, charts, and VORs
Navigate me to who I am
Fear of being earthbound
A need to dispel the fear
I call this cabin home
The sky my own frontier
