Phil can alert you to issues, provide a little education,
link you to resources, suggest research to be done, uncover ways to save money,
help avoid down time, warn you about misconceptions or mistakes,
apply a little preventative legal medicine, suggest solutions to problems, etc.
Phil cannot offer advice to you on specific legal issues because of
potential conflicts of interest and the risk of disclosure of client-confidential
information on-line. Moreover, the correct answer to any
legal problem varies from state-to-state and may depend on Federal and International
Law principles. Legal issues which appear simple may have
underlying complications. Just as you would not expect a physician to
diagnose your ailment by e-mail, Phil cannot provide case-specific legal
advice in this Forum. Questions answered in this forum do not create an
attorney-client relationship.

Phil will answer questions on a first come first serve basis.
If your question gets into Phil's Mail queue in time, you will get an e-mail with an answer
(within a week to 10 days--at most) and if
your question is of interest to the Landings community it will be posted
here for public access (anonymity assured!)
However, if your question gets to his queue too late,
your question may not get answered at all, and
you will not get a reply. In that case please accept our apologies in
advance and simply try asking it again :-)
TIP: Questions should be of a general interest in nature. Include enough
details without disclosing confidences, so that Phil can provide a meaningful response
(see the forum for examples of such questions), and please,
make sure that the question you are about to ask hasn't been answered already by
checking under the related topics.
