Pacific Flyer

Pacific Flyer is a 29 year old monthly aviation tabloid produced in Southern California with a decidedly different perspective on aviation and aviation publishing.

Our first goal is to make sure that all the important aviation news is included each month. We mean hard news like airport closings (or threatenings), new aircraft and techniques and the lives (and deaths) of important aviators.

Then we try to make it fun with features and color photo layouts on everything from hot new homebuilts to WW I replicas to authentic rebuilds, plus interviews with the characters who make up aviation. With that, we intersperse cartoons, humor, satire, flight tests, airshow coverage, personality profiles and more.

We're partial to warbirds and homebuilts and classics and antiques and jets and modern military but have been known been known to go deep on a nuclear sub and to try bungie jumping. In fact, you never know what's going to show up when you turn the page.

Distribution: Our readership is heaviest in the west, of course, since that's where most pilots are located. In California alone, there are more than 90,000 pilots, some 1/6th of all pilots in the country. But we also have subscribers in 50 states and distributors all across the country.

Advertising: Our advertising rates are among the lowest in the country for our circulation. Call, write, fax or e-mail us for a rate card.

How to reach us: telephone: (760) 439-4466, fax (760)439-9666, E-Mail: either through this site or by editor@pacificflyer.com. Or just drop by. You can mail us at 3355 Mission Ave., Ste. 213, Oceanside, CA 92054.
